How we start
From signing up to live filing.
In the order it happens. Your current biller keeps working until the comparison says we are ready.
Seven steps. Two of them wait on outside parties: the payers set the pace of enrollment, and your office and your provider approve the switch to live filing.
The sequence
Seven steps, in order.
-
You create an account, or talk to us first.
Find your practice by its NPI and tell us which EHR you use. If you would rather talk first, 20 minutes covers your EHR, the payers you bill and who does your billing today.
-
One export of a recent week.
Send one export of a recent week from your EHR, with patient details removed. We map your columns from it and show you what we read.
-
The agreement and the business associate agreement.
You sign both before any patient record reaches us. Your records stay yours.
-
We connect your EHR export and capture your contract rates.
We set up the visit export from your EHR. We record your payer contract rates from your contracts and fee schedules, and we check each rate against its source.
-
Enrollment with the clearinghouse and your payers.
This takes weeks. The payer sets the pace. We chase it and tell you where it stands.
-
A shadow period.
We prepare and check every claim beside your current biller. Each week you see the comparison: what we found, what they filed, where the two differ.
-
Live filing.
Your office and your provider approve the switch. Then we file, follow up and post.
What we need from you
Four things.
- One named office contact. The person we ask when a claim needs a fact only your office has.
- One provider. The person who answers a question about a signed note and approves the switch to live filing.
- An EHR billing user. A login in your EHR for Claims Native, so payments post back into your records.
- Your payer contracts. The contracts and fee schedules we check each payment against.
What it costs
One monthly fee. One launch fee.
$500 a month
For a practice billing up to $10,000 a month in insurance charges. Larger practices: we quote from your volume.
One launch fee, quoted with your scope, covers enrollment, connecting your EHR, capturing your contract rates and the shadow period.
Step one
Set up your practice.
Create an account, find your practice by its NPI and tell us which EHR you use.
